I love TV. I love Movies. I love it all.
I'm sure like myself you al have been overindulging in television shows, finally watching those movies you've been putting off for ages. All in an attempt to entertain yourselves during the crisis that is all of 2020. Election, Social Injustices, Politics, Pandemic, Quarantine, Family.
Am I right?
Or hey, in that desperate attempt to escape the world as we barrel towards the home stretch of the most messed up Jumanji game in existence- you've even Horror of Horrors- actually managed to make a dent in your Netflix "My List".
It's ok, it's ok- this is a safe place. I to have been a victim of the Netflix "My List". Let's be honest, because like I've said- safe place here right? We all know the "My List" is that place we put shows that others recommend to us- but we know to our very cores... we won't ever watch them. Or it's that dark hole we put shows that we've waited so long to watch that now we just feel a drowning embarrassment with ourselves.
Do you have any idea how long I've had "Hell on Wheels" on the List?
Too long. And no... I STILL haven't watched it. Yes. It's still on the list.
I love losing myself in the fictional drama, comedy, trauma of imaginary characters. It's my happy place. For a brief few hours, (Binging Anonymous will start at 8pm in the Church Reception Hall, there will be doughnuts) You've completely forgotten all about your pesky real life problems. And then of course the feeling fades, which leads to more watching, or online shopping, Facebooking, Instagraming, TikTokin'. Endless cycle.
To help with your cycle, because I'm an enabler, I'm sharing some of my binging favorites.
